Fire Stopping to Curtain Wall

A curtain wall system is an outer covering of a building in which the outer walls are non-structural, generally made of glass to allow for daylighting and an architectural finish. As it is non-structural, curtain walls typically require firestopping at the perimeter slab edge or seismic rating (or both) to complete the floor cell. Advanced Applicators have installed systems on several projects to ensure compliance on these unique issues, and with our Warranty service you can have confidence in the integrity of your project.
